Upholding travel regulations: It helps to be strict

On average, large corporations book Economy-class tickets 14.4 days prior to departure (last year: 13.6 days); Business-class tickets are bought 7.5 (5) days in advance. Medium-sized companies purchase their Economy-class tickets 17 (16) days and their Business-class tickets almost 10 (6.88) days in advance. In the current economic crisis, German companies apparently are not saving money by flying less, but by making clever bookings. This is also apparent in the decreased number of ticket cancellations.
