Corporate cards are the favorite method of paying for business expenses, but they are not ubiquitous. Even though corporate cards are regarded as best practice for numerous reasons relating to transparency and process efficiency, they are used only by 59% of respondents, followed by private credit card (35%), cash (including debit card – 25%), invoice/remittance (23%) and cash advance (10%).

All-inclusive payment or per booking?

Gone with the wind! No more reimbursement! After introduction of the “zero” commission in 2004, the annual payments by the airlines to travel agencies – highly welcome, of course – were a thing of the past. Agencies continued to receive their inclusive payment, the so-called “management fee”, but they were robbed of their “reimbursement”.
