How to download e-books

Currently, the most common formats for mobile end-devices are EPUB and MOBI.

If you have an iPhone or another end-device like Amazon Kindle or Sony, you should easily be able to work both with EPUB as well as MOBI. Just like you need a reader application to read a PDF, you likewise need a reader for an EPUB or MOBI download. Here are examples for the most used end-devices (iPhone, Blackberry, Amazon Kindle, Sony e-book):

• Go to the app-store, where you can select and install the free e-book reader Stanza

• Start Stanza
• Select “Downloads”
• Tap “+” at the bottom right
• Enter the target address of the e-book*:
  http://www.airpluscommunity.com/wp-content/files/post-recession.epub (please use small letters) and tap “Download”
• As soon as the e-book has been downloaded, it can be opened

• Open the web browser on the Blackberry
• Go to http://m.mobipocket.com  (or www.ereader.com/bb)
• Select “Download Mobipocket Reader”
• Select between “BlackBerry”, Blackberry Pearl/Curve/Bold/9000 (beta) or “BlackBerry Storm/9500″ (depending on telephone type)
• Click the “Download” button to install the reader

• Open the Mobipocket Reader program on the Blackberry
• Enter the desired target address in the URL window*. In our case: http://www.airpluscommunity.com/wp-content/files/post-recession.mobi (please use small letters)
• Click the “Download” button and follow all further instructions until the book is downloaded
• After the download, the medium can be opened
